We found this One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish hand print craft via Pinterest. We saw it done many different ways, but I really love the way his hands look when stamped using ink so that is the version we went with. I used purple for the "one fish" because we had no white ink. I actually really like the way the purple came out! For the two fish, I printed his hand and then laid his little hand to the side of the green fish and only pressed down one finger. We used googly eyes and the rest I did with marker. I love how this project turned out! It was definitely more product art than process, but his little fishy hands are so precious!
For this craft, we read The Foot Book by Dr. Seuss, and I had wanted to print his feet and use a quote from the book. However, that book really doesn't have any worthwhile quotes, so I went with this one. I think it is such an empowering Seuss quote!!
