Zarbees All-Natural Products Review and Giveaway!

Hi everyone! I am so excited to share our very first giveaway here at House of Burke! Since we are still focusing on a bug theme over here, I thought it would be appropriate to do a review and giveaway on one of our favorite products that just so happens to sport an adorable little bee on the cover!

Recently, I contacted the Zarbee's company in hopes that they would be willing to assist me in doing a giveaway for my readers. I have mentioned Zarbee's products on the blog before, and I am a huge fan!

I first stumbled upon Zarbee's through YouTube. I had watched a mommy vlogger do a review and thought I would try it out. I was pregnant at the time and super paranoid about putting anything in my body that wasn't good for baby. I refused to take any kind of medication and wouldn't even put a throat lozenge in my mouth. Zarbee's is completely medicine free and the children and adult version is made with a blend of dark honeys. It is free of alcohol, dyes, and glutens. I consulted my midwife who agreed it was safe to take. After several doses, my sore, itchy throat was gone and my cough had dissipated. I was shocked! Especially since I had only taken the children's version, not even the proper adult version that I would generally take.

Flash forward to a month ago, Kingston was 6 months old and was super congested. It wasn't long before he developed a matching little cough to go with it. It broke my heart to see him sick and I didn't know what to do to help him. I am not a big fan of medication, so I hopped online and did a little research. I soon came across Zarbee's new Baby product. However, as much as I searched and searched I couldn't find any reviews or information on it. The product was too new. This concerned me a little bit. As much as I trusted the Zarbee's brand, I am a big review reader. I live for them! I generally don't buy anything without reading the reviews first. So, I decided to consult my pediatrician who assured me that it was completely safe. I purchased Zarbee's Baby, which is a medicine-free, all-natural blend of agave nectars, from Target and administered in to Kingston immediately. Once again, it was like a miracle cure. By the second dose, Kingston's cough was gone and he was a much happier little man! I now swear by the stuff. I feel so confident in Zarbee's products and can't believe how many people do not know about them.

Zarbee's Baby is safe for infants 2 months and older. As I mentioned above, it is made with organic triple filtered agave nectar. Because baby's under the age of 12 months cannot have honey, Zak Zarbok, (founder of Zarbee's and both pediatrician and father of four) created a baby safe formula. There is nothing scarier than having a sick baby and not knowing how to help make them better. I was thrilled when the agave nectar worked its natural magic on K! Here is some information about giving your baby agave nectar. This website says it is fine in small doses, which Zarbee's Baby is, and they site the only negative proponent to agave nectar being that your baby will be more prone to liking sweet food. I didn't even find this to be the case! There are so many additives and flavorings in other medications. Kingston liked the flavor of the Zarbee's, but it didn't all of a sudden make him refuse his vegetables! Since cough suppressants are not given to infants and young children, this is a safe and effective alternative when you little one is sick.

Zarbee's Children's is safe for 12 Months and up. They also have new adult products! Check out their website for more product information.

Now to the fun part! I am giving away either a bottle of Zarbee's Baby Cough Syrup or a bottle of Zarbee's All-Natural Children's Cough Syrup to a lucky winner! Follow the Rafflecopter prompts and let me know whether you would like to win the baby version or the children's version. The giveaway winner will be announced a week from today and you can put new entries in daily! :)

This giveaway is open to US residents only.
The review and opinions written above were my own and were in no way swayed by the Zarbee's company.

  4. We normally mix some honey and cinnamon or lemon into water. It makes my children feel better.

  5. I use Little Noses Saline Drops and Maty's All Natural Chest Rub. The chest rub has a combo of essential oils and is petroleum and menthol free. The combo keeps my 7 month olds nose pretty clear.
