Love With Food - March 2014 Review

(This post contains affiliate links. Thanks for supporting us!)

Love With Food is a monthly food subscription box that comes with 8-9 products to try out that are either organic, natural, gmo-free, gluten free or free of artificial ingredients. Boxes are $12 for a month to month subscription, and as low as $10 a box with a longer subscription. An added bonus is that for every box you order, a meal is donated to a hungry child in America!

You can get your first box for 50% off your first box by using the code YUMMY in your Love With Food cart!

I ordered this subscription with plans of sharing its contents with Kingston every month. He loves trying new things also, and I thought this was a great way for us to share all natural products. Each month has a different theme. For our first month, the theme was Flavors of the World. Each box comes with a great little menu card that gives you a description of the contents!

The first thing we pulled out were Wai Lana Sea Salt and Vinegar Cassava Chips. We had never heard of these, or cassavas for that matter, but Salt and Vinegar is my favorite flavor. These had some serious S&V flavor. I wouldn't recommend them to someone who isn't already a fan. I liked the texture, and Kingston thought they were good too.

Next up was the snack size bag of Vintage Italia Pasta Chips Marinara. Oh man these were good! They tasted exactly like a healthy version of Combos Pepperoni Pizza Crackers. This was a delicious snack for Kingston and I to share and was packed with flavor!

Desert Gardens Taco & Burrito Meat Seasoning - We have plans to use this seasoning this week for tacos!

Taylors of Harrogate Earl Grey Tea - Unfortunately I really dislike tea, so I wasn't able to try this. However, Glam*Ma loves it, so it will go right to her!

Emmy's Macaroons, Chai Spice - Omgoodness these were PHENOMENAL! They were vegan. raw, and gluten free. I was in heaven. Kingston loved them too. The texture was great, and they definitely had a kick with the chai spice flavor. I hope we receive different flavors of these in future Love With Food boxes.

Walkers Shortbread Fingers - These were hands down our favorite snack in the box. They were melt in your mouth buttery deliciousness. This was the one treat that I didn't want to share with Kingston, but of course I did. He loved them just as much as I did and was sad when they were gone. You can find them at many grocery stores though, so we may have to pick some up. I don't know if I trust myself with them though!

Not pictured are the candy items: 2 Chimes Ginger Chews and a Pierre Gourmand lollipop. The ginger chews were yummy! I loved the texture and they were super zingy. The lollipop however was AWFUL! It tasted like some kind of rotten cheese and candle wax. Totally not for me! We also received a few coupons and offers.

Overall, I am IN LOVE with Love With Food! This is by far the cheapest subscription box we subscribe to and has so much in it! I would definitely recommend that you subscribe too. Subscribe by clicking any of the Love With Food links in this post and don't forget to enter the coupon code YUMMY for 50% off your first box!
