Print crafts are our forte, and Halloween is one of our favorite holidays! Autumn is hands down our favorite season, and I can't think of a better way to capture it than with art. For our Homeschool Preschool pumpkin theme, we had to make some adorable print crafts to commemorate our trip to the pumpkin patch.
Each boy made their own different type of pumpkin patch. Since Kingston is 3 and old enough to independently do most print crafts, he created a "Thumbkin Patch". I provided him with a piece of white cardstock
and an orange inkpad. He pressed his thumb into the inkpad and printed it on the paper. When he was done, we used crayons
to make green vines and a sign for his pumpkin patch!

Since Bentley is only 1, I thought it would be easier for him to make some larger pumpkins. I came up with the idea for him to make a "Palmkin Patch"! <--- See what I did there?! (I love it!) I printed his palm with the ink and pressed it down three times. Then we used the crayons to make the scenery. He loved making his pumpkins, and thought it was so fun. We sang Five Little Pumpkins as we worked!
These two crafts are so simple and fun to make this season! They make excellent gifts and keepsakes too.
